I finally ordered a new camera ..... I'm replacing an old, slow , refurbished, 1-megapixel Kodak with a 1" LCD screen, and getting a Sony W-150, 8.1-megapixel, 5x optical zoom + 2x digital, all kinds of other nice features including a much bigger 2.7" (I think) LCD screen, image stabilization, and on and on :rocker:

I've read a lot of consumer reviews on various websites and was undecided for a while between the Oympus FE-340, Cannon 870, Kodak V1073, and the Sony W150 plus a couple others along the way ...

I tend to over-think most major decissions and this turned into one quickly ... :)

Anybody have any experience with the Sony ?

Thanks

Oh, here's some shots of this camera and the amazon.com link:

I have the Sony alpha 10MP camera. It's not the same but I think you'll be very pleased. Sony makes very good cameras.

I have the Sony DSC-W90 model and like it very much.

One of the things I like the most is that it can take 1920x1080 widesceen pictures that I can display on my HDTV as a slideshow.

The camera performs well in bright lighting, however in low light you will need to play around with the settings alot. I would do that ahead of time, incase there is a birthday party or something important that you need to shoot in low light.
