Hello,

First winter owning a Scat pack in eastern PA. Before I had a 08 SXT. I was wondering if anyone could give me recommendations on what tire/wheel size I should look for.

I found a pair of 19 inch rims from a 2013 Charger RT. Would these fit on my 2018 with the Brembos?

Also if I do go with either 18 or 19 inch rims what size tires/what is a good brand? I've heard the Pirelli sottozero 3 were good.

At the moment I have 245/45ZR20 on the car. I don't plan on using the car much during the winter but would still like a set of snow tires/wheels.

Thanks in advance for the help!

If the 19s are stock OEM wheels they are from an AWD R/T and will not fit your Scat Pack.

My recommendation is to get one of the 2-3 sets they sell on Tire Rack that are 18x8 and clear the 4 pot Brembos (unless you have 6 pot Brembos then you might be stuck with 20s).

There is usually 2-3 choices like Sport Edition KV5 (not the best looking but oh well). For Tires I'd recommend the Michelin XIce Snow in a 225/60/18. Don't be afraid of the smaller contact patch... that actually helps you in snow putting more lbs/sq inch for traction.

If you insist on another tire you can use 235/55/18 size too. I really love the Michelin XIce Xi3 (which was the immediate predecessor to the XIce Snow this year). The new Snow model was supposed to best the old Xi3. They have a real treadwear warranty and last a good 35-40k miles in my experience before you get closer to the snow wear bars and they start acting more like really good all seasons.

Since I have an R/T with base brakes I was able to buy some new old stock Mopar wheels from the c. 2011 Challenger Ralleye package:

I bought a really nice set of 18x7.5" wheels from a V6 Challenger. I am not sure if they will clear the brembos, but they have a ton of room for the base R/T brakes.
I run Cooper Winter Evolution tires in 235/55/18 size.

No OEM 18x7.5 that came on LX platform will clear the 4 pot Brembos (some might with a spacer).

There are many aftermarket 18x8 that will clear the 4 pot Brembo.

I've always like those Challenger wheels, would have strongly considered a used set if the ones I got weren't so cheap and brand new! The new 20x9 Daytona wheels are really growing on me, a little too "matchy" on a Granite car but look good. Is that the 3 seaon Goodyear Eagle F1?

Those are the optional Summer Goodyear Eagle F1(220TW rating).
I only had them on the car for a month, while breaking the car in, so I should have a better idea how they drive in the spring.

Those 18's might fit on the rear but in the front will need at least a one inch spacer.

This guy has SXT 18's on his Scat Pack so they can work with right spacer.

I knew I'd seen a Challenger with 18s and a spacer, that's it! As always you'll need to test, every OEM 18x7.5 is a little different clearance wise... if you really need a 1 inch spacer that's pretty huge probably better off using aftermarket 18x8s that clear with no spacers IMO. This OP has two piston sliding calipers like me so he's good!

Why don't you buy my Scat Pack wheels with Pirelli snow tires? New lowered price of $650.

The OP has a Scat Pack, so at a minimum it's 4 pot Brembos.

Sorry I conflated the multiple snow tire threads going around... thought this one was the blue Daytona 5.7!
