Ok guys have a quick question, but before I add the question I know the answer will depend on driving styles. What is the average life on the slotted rotors? I am ordering Hawk ceramic pads and just want to know how long these rotors should last. I have had them on for about 24K. I dont think that they need to be replaced just pads. Thanks in advace.

I can get about 1 turn of the slotted rotors before they cant be turned again. I would say 30-40k at the most. 40k would be a grandma driver. Usually 20k is about the average of when the pads are gone. (Brembos) With the ceramic pads they will wear the rotors much faster.

If the rotors are not scored or grooved when you take the old pads off or warped from heat or somebody with an air wrench getting hold of'em, leave them on there and keep on getting it. Just my 2 cents worth.
