My factory radio has been stuck on "Updating Channels" and shows an ID of all 0s sometimes for the last 3 weeks. I have looked through the forums and can only find discussions on how this only lasts for at most a couple hours. I have tried resetting the signal online and over the phone. I have also tried resetting by unhooking my battery. Other than go to the dealer (as I couldn't find anyone to look at a factory radio) I have no idea what to do.

What year and model? There's instructions for getting in to engineering menu and clearing all. Maybe fix it, maybe not.
Also, avoid disconnecting battery unnecessarily. Figure out what fuse is for radio and do that. Others have reported occasional instances of other stuff in the car not liking being rebooted.

Mine in my 2010 Ram is doing the same exact thing. Been this way for at least a week now. Tried everything you mentioned you tried. They say I need to take it to a dealer. I'd rather buy a new stereo than spend money on the factory, but would even more rather just figure it out myself. So far though nothing has worked. Pulled the stereo and checked connections as well with no luck.
