K, I would actually like a camera mounted on or around my dash and be able to hit a button to record, how much do you think something like that would cost??

How would they go about doing that??

I just have no info or clue so would hate to get jacked if I went somewhere to have it done!!!!!!!

Check gov't auctions. They have old in-car video equipment for sale all the time.
The camera heads are small and the vcr mounts in the trunk.

You can buy the high-end systems new, like WatchGuard, but they are a bit pricey.

It shouldn't be hard to mount a small camera wired to a small vcr in your car using a power inverter.

If you can use a pc, you should be able to install it yourself.
