Valvoline MaxLife is a synthetic blend oil. I use Royal Purple in my Daytona; they did a complete, fresh oil change with new Royal Purple after they were done filming (my car got a 25 quart flush from all the scenes they were shooting!) and they also gave me (in addition) two full cases of Royal Purple. Can't beat that

Um, what? You're saying that your car was the actual one in that commerical? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proofs.

First of all, proof isn't really needed.. you can see the commercial all day long and see that it's mine. Here's some extraordinary proof anyway.. amazing experience, all of that crew just for this one commercial, not to mention the second mansion they rented down the road just for crew parking - there must have been another 50 cars down there for the crew.

Here's my car in her current state: http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54289

I don't get it. I didn't see anything close to an alley in those pics. The other link shows a slammed car with different wheels.

It was my car in the Big Sur Mobil 1 commercial.....:knockout:

Randy,

Too Cool! Congrats on having a film star in the family!

I just re-watched Blade 3 last night, he has a killer old Charger in there too! Too bad it gets shot full of holes and gets burned-ash all over it... :(

I saw a commercial for Dodge Trucks last night and I tried to think if I ever saw a Charger commercial. I don't think I have.
In fact the only times I remember a Charger on TV at all is Hulk Hogan's Super Bee and Vic Mackey's blue charger on The Shield.
Anybody else?
There were tons of Charger commercials in 2005 when it launched. The Charger is always featured heavily in the generic Dodge brand commercials. You sure you're watching TV? You can't watch a sporting event for more than about 3 minutes without seeing a Dodge ad.

Maybe you're watching Lifetime... :)

i believe it's a GTO?
Not just a GTO but

The Judge!

Remember that line was based on the Laugh-In sitcom "Here comes Da judge!"

SHARK

I had a problem with that episode even though it showcased a SRT8. THe hummer running neck and neck with it for 2 miles was a stretch

Have you seen the TV Show "The Shield" it has the main character driving a Charger. If you haven't seen this show your missing out. Start from the beginning if you decide to check out this show. The Charger doesn't debut until season 4 or later I think. It's an awesome show!

Are you thinking of the Castrol commercial where they go head-to-head?

My car was in the Valvoline commercial.. ;) The oil is supposed to be futuristic so the basis of the commercial is the "owner" of the car is pouring in the oil while a pizza boy beams in to deliver his pizza.. :alien:

Hey Cuda, I think the next movie get'n filmed here in the Chi-town area will necessitate us driving down and/or around the set to make sure our rides get filmed, unintentionally or otherwise. Agree?

A 25 quart flush with all of the takes.

A fresh oil change with Royal Purple 5W-20 (7 quarts) with 2 full cases of Royal Purple 5W-20 as a thanks, plus the $$$$ for using my car.

And on top of all of that, bragging rights.. :D

Ah Ha! Very cool indeed. I think the one I saw was a Mustang with a similar future theme to it. I'd love to see yours - do you have a link/You Tube?
