Glad to see you finally got it! :bigthumb:

And yes, the Beats Audio sucks rocks as far as I'm concerned. The Kicker system in my '06 SRT is better...and considering it's nearly 10 years older, it's just plain wrong that it is.

Beautiful ride. The B5 is my 2nd favorite color for the Charger besides the Bright White. I just placed an order for my own Scat Pack with the Beats Audio group. Would I be better off taking off the Beats Audio and going with a custom setup? How does stock sound compared to it? I am on the fence on painting the roof black. It's $1500 to have it done by the factory which seems pricey, but if I ditch the Beats I guess it'd only be $505 more.

//edit -- Also, I am starting to see a trend with the Scat Pack Chargers. The 2nd car is usually a Durango. I've seen this now in your video, and of another White Scat Pack Charger on YouTube with a White 2014 or 2015 Durango.

Definitely curious about the beats audio myself and if it's worth it to add this. I'll have to listen to it myself I'm sure but curious to see opinions.

That sp looks amazing, congrats!

So these are OEM Hellcat wheels and Pirelli PZeros (all takeoff from a new hellcat). I paid $3500 shipped to my door for wheels and tires. I plan on selling the stock Scat Pack wheels and can easily get $2,500 for the wheels and tires...they are actually VERY nice looking in person....however...

When I changed the wheels and tires the handling was VERY NOTICEABLY different....This is a combination of the super-light forged wheel that the OEM is and the extra rubber....when i had the stock tires on..the thing would chirp so easily from a red light...with these...it does't do that...this car needs 275s minimum all around....and i LOVE the way they look...it just makes the whole car look so much more aggressive.

Let me just state...I LOVE THIS CAR....it's stunning in person and in sport mode with these tires..it really handles amazing...has a great ride...and feels locked in....people little were taking pictures of me , videos etc...on the short highway road home....a lot has to do with this color combo...say what you want...people see white / red cars all day long...but this blue is just STUNNING and the contrast with the black just makes it look extra special...i know everyone will think this way about "their color"...but in my opinion the lines are so much more pronounced in the B5

A few things i noticed

- The pedals aren't medal like in sums of the press pictures - just rubber, which is fine, i just drove in a mercedes with medal pedals and actually found them annoying and hurt my feet lol

- The interior does not have that dash and shift surround in the honeycomb surround like the 392 and Hellcat, it's just a brushed black, which again...doesn't bother me, actually fits my blue/black look

- The SEATS ARE AMAZING...they are so comfortable, the whole setup is so comfortable. I am glad I just got the performance cloth..it is so nice and will definitely stay cool in summer

- THE BEATS IS CRAP CRAP CRAP...it literally sounds like the speakers are BLOWN. My wife has a stock stereo in a 2015 RT Durango and it sounds 100x better. It's weird, only a few songs sound OK...but the others sound like CRAP. Literally like it's junk components....i would avoid at all cost.

Love how the blacks & reds contrast with that B5 blue!

I agree car needs 275 minimum width tires and will be changing out to wider tires when my stock rubber is worn.

My SP came with the metal pedals so perhaps Brampton is running low on pedal parts?

I have the hectic mesh interior - but for the SP that only comes with the upgrade to the leather package with Alcantara suede inserts.

Have you tried the Beats audio with BT and/or aux/flash card audio source?
Others have posted how the satellite radio compression really hurts all the audio systems. I'm no audiophile and have only the stock audio system.

Congrats, she is beautiful and welcome to the hive!

Do you think I should question why I didn't get the aluminum pedals and have the dealer get the parts for me and swap? Was thinking the honeycomb was with the upgraded interior, which maybe I would have done if I knew how crappy the beats audio would be.

Yeah let me state, that it sounds like crap on bluetooth whereas in my wife's RT Durango it sounds AMAZING through bluetooth. When I try radio or satellite is even worse...like it literally sounds like speakers under water. There is absolutely NO clear treble across the range, and when I play with the equalizer, it just makes the sounds crack a bit, clearly something is wrong here...either hardware or the way it's configured. I hear major problems with the HK System on the hellcat....kind of sad Dodge couldn't seem to get this simple thing right.

Guess I will just have to listen to the engine more..lol...I cannot get over how amazing this car sounds from the factory....even when I had vipers, I had to buy Corsa exhausts to really bring out the sound...this factory exhaust is incredible.

Side question:

What air pressure should I have with the Pirelli Pzeros on the hellcat rims?

I'll bet you $10 your bright pedals are in a box under the trunk floor right where mine were. Gas pedal snaps on easy enough but the brake is a complete PITA.

That would explain the extra rubber brake pad that was in my dealer packet.
Putting on the bright metal pads must be a PDI item along with assembling the shark fin antenna, etc. As long as you're in the trunk storage area, be sure you have the TireFit kit (no doughnut spare since that type of wheel won't clear the Brembos).

Thanks for the info about the wheels and tires. I will definitely upgrade to 275s at some point. I honestly think that the B5 color is the "signature" color of the Scat pack. It really looks good. Had I been younger, and this wasn't a family car I probably would have opted for the B5 of instead bright white. Once again, congrats!

Congrats on a beautiful car from a B5 Road and Track owner. I'm surprised to hear how bad you think the Beats system is. I'm no audiophile, but mine sounds pretty darned good (except on satellite of course, too much compression). Maybe there is another problem. Let's hear from some others Beats owners and maybe a complaint to the service department will get you some improvement.

Please post some more interior shots- was wondering whether the base interior comes with perforated leather on the steering wheel and red piping on the floor mats. Also curious about the cloth on the door panels.

Nice looking ride!

Seems like everybody agrees that every single sound system option across all trims blows this year. Where is Bose when you need them?
