Anyone knows how reliable is the timer used in the Superchips data logger ?

Did a search but could not find a thread that discusses this.

The SC timer seems to be pretty accurate. I would usually run about tenth or two slower in the 1/4 mile than I would at the track though that is probably because at the track you have better traction. The only thing that was never accurate for me on it was the 60' time. If I would spin the tires a lot I would get crazy good 60's times. I never tested my SC at the track but I am sure it is with in a tenth of a second on 0-60, 1/4, 1/8 mile ect. My personal opinion, it is probably a lot more accurate than the Evics.

Tx.

It probably looks at the speedometer data (based on transmission speed), which would interpret wheel spin as a pretty darn good vehicle acceleration !
