Joseph Daniel Boxler, age 16, of Kennett Square, PA, died Tuesday October 2, 2007 at the Christiana Hospital due to injuries sustained in a one car accident.

Born in West Chester he was a son of Daniel and Dorothy Bacino Boxler of Kennett Square. Joe was a Junior at Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE where he was an honor student and active on the Tennis, and Cross Country teams. He was a member at Auburn Heights in Yorklyn, DE where he enjoyed working on steam engines. He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the St. Patrick Youth Ensemble where he played violin and drums. Other hobbies include fishing, boating and cars. At the age of 14 he started his own landscaping business. Most of all he will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor and his love for family and friends.

Survivors include in addition to his parents, a brother Anthony J. Boxler of St. Joseph's University; his paternal grandmother, Josephine Puma Boxler of Landenberg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Josephine Bacino; his paternal grandfather, John A. Boxler; and his uncle and godfather, Tom Bacino.

Friends and family are invited to visit with his family from 6-9 pm Friday, October 5 at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA and from 8:30-9:30 am Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390, where his Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Ashland.
