Hey guys, new member here. Ive had my 2018 Scat Pack since March 2021. I changed the brakes and rotors from the dealer ones, for obvious reasons, to a set of Powerstops. I noticed the other day that my one rotor now, after a few months, looks quite dirty compare to the others. Ill be including a photo. Which is weird because its the first time out of the countless brake jobs I've done that it looks like this. I dont drive hard at all, dont brakes hard,, im pretty much a grandpa behind the wheel. I like to take car of my cars. Haven't had the chance to pull the wheel and measure the rotor and pads but at least from what I can see there's no difference in the pads on both sides of the car and caliper. Car brakes like its supposed to, I bedded them probably like always, no vibrations or anything concerning etc. Just weird. And as I type this I remeber that it wasn't like that before I sent it to a shop to have a wheel re-painted. So im assuming that maybe it was a build up of rust that now won't remove itself like typical? Idk. Im a bit lost. No I'm not a certified mechanic just mechanically inclined and can do quite a bit. Also those marks aren't grooves like you'd normally see if a rock or something got wedged in there or something. Thought I'd ask and see whats going on. All the hardware is new everything is lubed the way it should be etc
