Hello all! I have a 2016 R/T and I've noticed, to the best of my description, a rotational grinding/scraping in the mid-front end. I don't think you can hear it from outside the vehicle but from the drivers seat, it sounds almost like it's beneath the center console up into the center dash behind the main panel. At first I thought it was my brakes/rotors but it's become more consistent and slightly louder. It is consistent with the vehicle's movement, meaning, the sound speed up at higher speeds and slows down at slower speeds, becoming more noticeable when coming to a stop, almost like if the rotors were scratchy. It doesn't do it at all while idle, only in movement. It's not affected while shifting or changing gears and there is no vibration associated with the noise.
I'm not very mechanically inclined LOL Anyone else have this issue or know what it could be? TIA
