Hey guys- I have an 06 R/T daytona, and i was wondering why when the car is parked and I rev my motor, the tach only rev's to 4000 rpms, and then cuts out. Is there something i'm missing? I recently installed a K&N Cold Air Intake, but nothing else has really changed...

I was also looking to purchase the Predator- which I have heard many good reviews about...would that help me out with this issue i'm having as well?

Its sort of a "safety" feature since reving the engine like that in park isnt good for the engine at all....but with the predator you can kick it up to 5K rpm rev limit in neutral, thats the highest you can and should go.

It's normal ... and like said above, not good for an unloaded engine to be revved ...

:rocker::rocker:my 07 sxt was doing the same thing i disconected the battery for while and pluged it back up and it would rev all the way to redline again ?
