Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has recently sold or purchased a used Charger Scat Pack? I have 2019 that has always been garage kept with only 11K miles. Car is in amazing condition and has lots of upgrades to the interior and exterior. There are only a few minor mechanical upgrades which include; Hellcat airbox, exhaust cut offs with switch and oil catch can. There plenty of pic on my Instagram @badbee_2019.

I'm considering moving onto something else and was curious as to what I should be looking for/expecting to get for it. I do think there is significant value in the car, was hoping you guys would be able to help provide some insight.

Sorry I couldn't post the pics directly here, posting from work and couldn't access them.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Add ons usually don't add much to the value unless you find a buyer that wants them or they are very common. They can even hurt value.
Figure out what 4 year old scat packs go for in your area and what more you'd want out of it and start there. Maybe you'll get lucky.

It's a beautiful car and looks like a good spec with the 6 pot Brembos... does it have the adjustable shocks too? The stripe probably hurts value as it eliminates some buyers who wouldn't want that or want to pull it off. The chin spoiler and airbox I'd just move back to stock and sell separately for a few bucks same goes for the catch can.

Find the top of the market for 2019 Scats... with your miles you'll have one of the nicest ones out there. That being said it is 4 model years old now so I wouldn't expect to get $45+k

This Plum Crazy in Michigan with 13k miles the dealer wants $44k... I would think you'd have to undercut dealers. What was your original stick? Probably near this one at $48-50k?

CarMax usually offers more than traditional dealers. Go to their site for an online quote.
And if you decide to sell to them, their in-person redemption and inspection process is quick. A short drive and all they look for are major issues.
I sold them my prior car, they gave me 74% more than second lowest offer.

I appreciate that you actually did the under Lighting correctly.
I don’t care for it on my own vehicles, but it drives me absolutely crazy when I see these cars driving around and I can the actual lights.

Also, Carvana. I don’t think that I would buy from them, but they give some crazy estimates out with very little inspection.

They offered me $5k above what I paid for my wife’s car, but we decided to keep it since it’s 6 months from being paid off with only 25k miles on it.

Thank you. Carvana made me an offer for the sticker value of the car which was really good but I didn't have an inspection. I'm just thinking that with everything that's been added to the car it would get me a little bit over that. I'm sure Carvana is the the quickest way to unload it without a hassel but maybe not the most economical.

Would they possible offer more upon an inspection or is the original offer the best you get?

My original sticker was only 44K. It only had the dynamics package.,

Carvana has really tightened the noose on purchasing cars for resale this past year. Your car is actually 5 model years old. (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) and that is where the value starts to drop on resale. If Carvana offered you original MSRP on a non wide body scat I would seriously consider taking their offer contingent on the inspection matching the condition you say it is. Double consideration if you paid less than MSRP.

As far as aftermarket add-ons are concerned that is pretty much your personalization which is not a good fit for most buyers.

Good luck on the sale and I hope you get top dollar.

If they offered you $44k go back and take it. No they won't give you any more after inspection it only goes down from there. Before you go back remove anything you can sell like the catch can, lights, splitter etc.

From what I’ve heard, their “inspection” is kind of a joke, nothing to worry about. Especially based off of first appearances with your car.

Just remember, when you filled out your appraisal, pretty much the only “extras” that you get credit for are for Factory extra. As in, if it didn’t have a little box to check, you don’t get credit for it, anywhere.

But, breaking even sounds like a hell of a deal!

I recently sold my 2019 it was loaded to the max with low miles and garage kept as well also had new rubber, If you can get 44k jump on that I got less than that for mine. 44k is at the top of KBB recommended value.
