Upps sorry lot of missing information on my side..What year? What engine? How many miles? Budget?
I think I will replace all of the lifters..I have seen some treads about the 6.1 cam will these be a good option on a tight budget?..Well, lifters are not cheap themselves. You are going to need new head bolts and a new gasket for the head you take off. If you were going to do all the lifters, then you'd have both heads off and it would be a great time to do either a cam, or headers. As far as replacing things internally, 60k isn't a lot of miles. Plugs and fluids is about all that you'd need. Timing set is due at 120k so you are good there. Other than that, anything else seems to be out of reach due to having a tight budget. Engine upgrades just are not cheap for the hemi. You can try and source some used and see what happens. Good luck.
I definitely will considerThat list sounds right. If you are going to do the cam then you have to take the front cover off. That means another gasket and possibly the crank seal. Maybe another $25 for both those. Water pump doesn't need replaced till 120k so don't worry about that. A 6.1 cam can be found for cheap. People are always selling those for $50 to $75. There are small upgrades that usually are done at the same time as a cam, like switching to stronger valve springs. Replacing the valve stem seals. Replacing the pushrods. None of those would be mandatory if you just want to put in a 6.1 cam though, they are just something to consider if the budget allows.
Ok so Ill better start looking for:Yep, that would be ideal to get them from a 6.1. You really only need the 8 exhaust springs to replace your 8 intake springs. Your exhaust springs will work just fine.
Thanks for your help..Now at least I have a list of needed parts..I will search for them..rockauto.com for your seals and gaskets. I'm not sure about lifters. I've never shopped for those. Head bolts you probably need to shop around some but your best bet is going to be some place like Summitracing.com or Jegs.com. They may be where you find your lifters too.
