Yes! you'll get the icon in the dash and the "DING". It's just easier to transfer your sensors from your current rim's to the new ones you purchase, I did. The tire wheel shop's do that for all car's with tire pressure sensor's. No big prob. for them.

 

Or you can just buy a new set of sensors. I periodically see them on Ebay for $100-150 for a set of 4. Or, you can buy them new at tirerack.com for a bit under $200.

The original sensors would not fit my new rims, so I'm just riding without them until they make a sensor that will fit. (Stock sensors do not lay flat enough with my particular aftermarket rims) The only time you hear the ding is on start-up, not while driving. The light does stay on though, but I've gotten used to it.
