Hi,

Does anyone know how the switch in the rear doors has been disabled from opening the windows on a 2010 Charger police package? I've confirmed the switches do work. There is no power to the switch, and I assume it has been cut or never connected from factory. But I don't know. The only time there is power to the rear switch is when the driver switch is activated.

Thanks

Of course the rear switches are disabled on a Police Charger. You wouldn't want a prisoner in the rear seat being able to open the windows, would you?

Only the LEO Driver would be able to open or close those windows as needed.

It is probably that the power is cut from the driver's switch where the power routes to the other doors. There is a window lock-out switch on the driver's door panel that is likely enabled to be locked out all the time so that only the driver controls the windows.

I can do the same thing on my car with the push of the button so that no one but me can control the windows. They probably made it permanently selected on the Police car.

Yeah but it's not the switch override button at the driver.

And yes of course I know it would be disabled. Just trying to figure out how to get it working.

Thanks.
It's not disabled by using that switch, but by using that circuit.
