I picked up one of the smaller toll passes to put in my Charger but I just hate braking up the clean lines of the car by having a white hunk of plastic Velcroed to the windshield.

Around the rearview mirror the is a blacked out area....has any placed their toll transponder in this position? It would solve seeing it on the shield from the outside, problem is I'm not sure if it would read through it.....

Has anyone done this?

I put my EZ-Pass in my sunglasses holder. I've yet to have an issue with it not being read by the toll booth, and I don't ever have to look at it.

Mine is behind the mirror to the left of the stem. I forget it's there.

I've had my transponder register a toll when its been in my center console, in the cubby hole below the HVAC control, and even in the glove box before. Either I got a really good transponder, or it doesn't really matter too much.

I put the smaller transponder in my sunglass case and went through a toll. It registered.

Remembered I had the bigger one in my center console do not sure which one registered lol

I'll try again tomorrow, I've removed the older larger one
