OK, So the Mopar LT's will be installed in about 2 weeks and I have a question...

Is there a gasket that goes between the new LT's and the heads? I didn't get one with the LT's so do I need to buy a new one?

I believe the Mopar Longtubes do not come with a header gasket. They list all the items supplied in the instruction manual and no header gasket is listed.

I re-used existing gasket. You could probably find a better one or if you have put alot of miles on may want to anyway. The one on it was two pieces and i think i heard somewhere that better ones may be 3?

yeah my mopar lt's didnt come with one either, even after a forum vendor said they come come with all needed gaskets =/

apparently you CAN re use them since they are metal but I would just go buy some new ones. they cost about 12 bucks total.

That is one more reason I like SLP, they come with everything you need.

Thanks everyone. I'll just buy a new set when I get them installed.
