I found what I needed. Thanks to those who attempted to assist me.
Thank you. But, that is the wiring harness I have in hand already. I need the wire that is part of the car wiring harness (attached to the body, not the bumper cover). This may be what you need.
Thank you. That's actually where I started. My local yards do not have an 11-14 Charger. And coparts and carpart only seem to have the entire harness listed. And, they want wayyyy more than I'm willing to pay for a plug and a few inches of wiring. LOL! Thanks again!Best bet is junk yards. I can’t even think of what to google it to help ya.
No. That's the thing -- it's gone. That end of the wire, along with the plug, was ripped off my car at some point in the past. I need a few inches of the wire that comes out of the rear bumper, along with the plug.
That's a great idea -- except that I don't know which generic wire should connect to which wire on the bumper side. They're not the same color on both sides of the plugs (from what I've seen in videos, etc). I might try that anyway -- and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for the advice. At this point just make your own connector. It’s really not that difficult. Get four wires. A 4 wire connector and solder the wires or butt connectors.
I'll look again. But, what little I've seen of the two sets of wiring, they are different. Most are wrapped and I can't see the actual wires in videos and I've need seen a good photo of both sides of the wiring harnesses. Maybe I just need to pull my rear bumper off and try matching things up. Thanks!oh they’re not the same color? Well that’s dumb of dodge. :/ good luck tho buddy
This is the bumper cover side:Is your bumper side a square? Or rectangle?
