I may be wrong but I think I have read this will disable (fully) the ESP. If this is true than why not plug into where the fuse goes with two wires with an inline fuse and a remote toggle switch?

This doesn't work on Chargers, it only worked on early build Magnums and 300's. For 2006 models they changed the operation of the ABS/ESP system.

You have a 2006 so it doesn't work. I think it was 07's and up (could be wrong) that can turn ESP full-off with the key trick. Drive like 15mph (I don't remember the exact speed), turn the key (don't worry the starter won't engage), hold it for 5 seconds and ta-da! ESP is now full off.
