updated today

Dodge Charger/Magnum (2006) 8-10 Magnum Rear Wheel Drive (package 27G) is on restriction until 09/01/05
Top Banana paint (PYH) is on restriction until 11/21/05
The following options are on restriction until 08/22/05
Convenience Group II (AHN) with Automatic Headlights (LMG)
Convenience Group II (AHN) with Power Front Windows (JP3)
Variable Line Pressure Automatic Transmission (DG6) is on restriction until 12/01/05

the protection package is no longer listed as being on hold... also for those waiting for this option, word from the plant is they will be producting cars with this option starting in 2 weeks

FIGURES!! :mad:

I just canceled my protection package!

Oh well, they told me it would not have been produced until October anyways!

Similar to my post on the Bramptonassembly forum, I just don't understand how this is supposed to be working.

People who have had protection group on their orders (forever) are in BG status. They don't get scheduled until October. The factory is going to start building protection group on Chargers in 2 weeks. Whose cars are they going on? People ordering today???

Can anyone figure this one out?

And like AZCHARGER I just dropped PG from my order a couple days ago to get it moving. Figures...

OK, if I am interpreting the Dodge and Chrysler web pages correctly, the G package on the Magnum and Charger are on the SXT models and the H and K package on the 300 is for the Touring model and the Limited model. That means they are concentrating on R/T's and Daytona's for now, right? Fingers crossed. :whistle:
