This was achieved by forum member DaddyKool. Here are the times. All times were within 25 minutes of each other, there was no cool down in between runs.
60: 2.241
1/8: 8.958
1/4: 13.533
1/4: 114.789

60: 2.285
1/8: 9.14
1/4: 13.710
1/4: 115.06

60: 2.26
1/8: 8.841
1/4: 13.373
1/4: 115.563

This was on street tires, once he gets grag radials and gets his 60 ft time down, he will be running low 12's easily. These runs were all at full weight and full tire pressure.

the et isnt the point. The ets are an indicator of traction which he doesnt have, the mph is the highest mph of any 5.7 based car out there on motor. With traction, he will be running low 12's. Mods are;
392 shortblock
Stage 3 5.7 heads
stock intake
392 race warrior
bg flash
mopar longtube headers
mopar exhaust
precision 2800 converter

I hate to DIFFER with you........BUT

If the LX Car is going 115 mph in the 1/4 it better run HIGH 11's with traction.

Now if you need a Driver with 35 years of training at the Drag Strip, feel free to drop me a line.

Let him know that I am serious......
I have NEVER crashed one at the track and have gone 11.23 @ 122.76 on DOT Soft Compound Tires in a 71 Duster back in 1986.

Look at my numbers in my signature with an almost 100% Stock Charger .

Thanks

awesome...bring that 60' down with some traction and no doubt youll get 12's...does anyone think 12's are possible on a stock 5.7 block? and just upgrading heads and cam? not really trying to go the short block route...?

Hi Cherry. Actually the only thing left stock on InferAl's engine is his short block; Heads Milled / Cam / Precision 3200 TC / Frankencooler Trans Cooler / Mopar Oil cooler / Mopar Longtubes / Zoomers Catback/ B&G Stage 3. And doing everything that InferAl does to prep the vehicle and run those times would put this 392 build well into the 11's. It's currently chokin; running with a 2.5 inch exhaust and shorty headers.

PPP hasn't really focused on the 5.7L market until now, but now that we are, we are going to make a lot of 5.7L customers extremely happy with the performance gains and results they will achieve with the products we are offering.
