During the last year I noticed after I start my '12 Charger (60k miles) the transmission would have a slight delay (some days worse than others) when shifting from first, second and third gears, but after the first mile or two it wouldn't happen again until the next day. My wife told me that she just lets it run for 5-10 minutes to "warm up" during winter and she doesn't experience the issue. As soon as the warmer weather came I noticed that the transmission doesn't even delay anymore after starting it up. Weird!
Six months after I bought the car I did have transmission problems with it going in limp mode and after two different times at the dealer they replaced the "transmission computer" (don't remember the name of it). This fixed the issue for about a year.
I have taken the car to the dealer two times and had test drives with a mechanic, however the shifting was fine during the drive. Is it possible when its cold shifting would be sluggish? There are no warning lights/messages.
