hey y'all, my wife surprised me with a 2016 hellcat this week! i love the car, but noticed today green led lights around the headlights.

has anybody seen these? is there a way to change the color to white? (green lights with an orange car reminds me of a pumpkin) i've been through all the menus in uconnect and can't find anyway to change the color.

any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

thanks!

Could be Oracle lights, in which case my understanding is that the only option would need to replace the headlights. Could be some light show function the previous owner set with a tazer.

Hopefully one of the others will chime in and confirm or send you in a better direction.
Check the HellCat forum, maybe.

Either way, congratulations on the car and on the wife!

Bonus, YOU can’t see the lights from the drivers seat.
That's odd for sure and of questionable legality.
What color is the turn signal, if it's green, it's illegal for public use.
I believe the green is illegal, period. But I’m not positive and I’m not sure where the OP lives, but I think it’s pretty universal in the U.S.

I read about the Oracle lights on the HellCat forum. Apparently they take the light assembly apart to make them green. That’s why I said replace was the option.

turn signal is yellow. i live in houston, tx. i guess what i'm hearing is i should definitely take it in and have them replaced.
It could be the color changing lights they make as well and they can cycle through colors reach out to the previous owner if possible might be a remote somewhere as well or like already stated no way to change it

Not always lights can be changed through the phone, if the lights are equipped with a Bluetooth module yes you can. Look for a module (a little box) around the lighting housing or wires. I believe you can use any RGBW lights app to change it back. Here is a list of the most popular Light apps, you may need to try all of them to find the correct one.

Available on both Android and IOS

-Magic Light BLE
-Happy Lighting
-Lotus Lantern
-Magic LED
-LED Hue
-BlueGhoztApp
-LED DMX
-Pro RGB
-Oracle ColorShift

Contact Mod FX in Houston or better yet, take your car to them. They likely did the installation.

No, that device you're referring to is actually a comprehensive "security system" known as Ikon Connect. It has gained significant popularity and widespread adoption by numerous dealerships and individuals alike for the purpose of tracking vehicles, particularly in situations where repossession is necessary or when it becomes essential to determine the precise location of a vehicle. To facilitate this functionality, your car is equipped with a module labeled Ikon Technologies, strategically positioned somewhere behind the dashboard on the driver's side, and securely connected or tapped into the OBD2 port.

If you have chosen to finance your vehicle through a dealer or a bank, it is crucial to understand the significance of retaining this module. Removing it could potentially violate the terms and conditions outlined in the paperwork you signed during the financing process. In fact, the dealership where I was previously employed strictly prohibited the removal of this module, even if the financing was obtained through a bank. It serves as an integral part of the overall financing agreement and helps ensure the smooth operation of the security system.

The presence of a sticker on your vehicle serves as an informative warning to potential thieves, indicating that the vehicle is equipped with a highly effective tracking device. However, it is important to note that some determined individuals might attempt to disable the system by investigating the wiring harness once they become aware of the sticker's presence.

His car might have/had this device in the car (the OP is not original owner) but I don’t believe this device changes the color of the headlights.

The green light is the DRL which you should be able to deactivate through the menu.

I purchased my 2017 Charger srt392 used and the previous owner had installed LED lights similar to the ones in your picture but mine came with a controller that let me change colors as well as shutting them off.
I set mine to red and to come on with the when I start the engine and turn off when I shut the engine off.
