There are 2 different gallons out there. Like already stated, one is already mixed and nothing else is required. This is the one that should be used over large areas. Then there is the regular gallon of dip. This is the one that most people that are having issues are using. This has to be mixed with thinner to be able to be sprayed through a gun. This is also the same mix that is bought in the rattle cans at Lowe's. These are fine for small areas or areas with bends. Wheels is a good example, not the hood or trunk of your car.
In the end to each their own, and it is a cheap way to set your ride different from others and change it over the course of a day.....
