pin on or bolt on???

I'll take a stab at this. I might be wrong but I'm fairly certain that Bolt on is just a regular hood connection including hinges, etc, and basically replaces the oem hood using those original connectors. The pin on style is where the hood is set on and then pinned in place with visible pin connections on the body. Alot of older muscle cars use the pin on connections. Attached a pic of a pin on hood.
