It was my understanding that DCX made all of the "Go Man Go" Daytona's before starting production standard Chargers. These will be given out to specific dealers after there nascar tour. The next run of Daytona?s was schedule for the fall.

If this is supposed to be a limited edition car, then why are the wasting so many for promotional purposes?
You would think they would want to sell them new to the public, rather than as a demonstrator with a couple thousand miles on them. DUH ! ! ! !
I want my car...

Dodge has done this before. When I use to work at a big Dodge Dealer in Cambridge, On. The painter in the body shop had a dakota that was used for promo at the Molson Indy(drivers name on it, light bar, checkered graphics etc). If you guys are buying your Daytona as a "collectors item" then by all means these are the ones to get.

I guess this why the mustang is selling faster than they can build them with the camero and firebird gone Dodge should be building them as fast as they can. $28,000 you can get your stang today. Dodge should know chevy is watching and will bring the camero back and thier goes 40,000 cars to thier the bottom line. While the charger fan is on a waiting list seeing the pictures above.

This also gets the Chargers out there to most of the people that didnt know they existed yet. They arent just selling 5000 GoManGo Daytonas and calling it quits, they are building Top Banana, Sublime green, Plum crazy purple..most with different spoilers and graphics so I wouldnt be too upset.

SUBLIME AND PLUM CRAZY PURPLE, now those are colors that I want.

My buddy had a mint 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 in sublime (or was it Green Go) with a bumble bee stripe (or was it the scat pack stripe) at the back. He had the black wing and he had blacked out the hood (with the twin hood scoops in green), the grille, the center portion of the rear chrome bumper and the rallye wheels had been blacked out with chrome trim rings and center piece (hub). YEY YEY, I want the sublime Daytona. Everybody in our gang envied that Dart Swinger. It also had the Hurst 4spd manual and bucket seats. If Chrysler can put in a manual, WOW.

Those Daytona pics remind me of that famous pic of the hundreds of new 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbirds in a parking lot awaiting delivery. Perhaps those were at a NASCAR event too prior to delivery.

LOL... I had a whole post dedicated to that fact that the orange looks different in real pictures than on the website and in the brochure. It pissed me off because I think it looks 1000x better in the real pics. It looks too much like "neon" orange on the website and in the brochure.

Just wondering how many miles ours are going to show when the are received or for these cars shown in the pictures are they going to electronically reset the odometers? I would say that would be really crappy to have those out there having the potential for rock dings, chips, etc. and then sell it as new to an unsuspecting customer who actually placed the order for the car.

I know for a fact that the car I take delivery of will be checked over fully for any crap that may have gone on prior to getting to the dealership. I had purchased a Avenger at one time that was "new" and when my buddy and I checked it over closely, you could see, barely, grinder marks in the front fender. If it had been dark or overcast, you would've never seen them and they would've gotten away with selling me a used/wrecked car without disclosing it. After going over the facts and showing them the law on not disclosing the prior damage - in-transit or whatever caused it - on the paperwork as repair, then they took off $7000 and called it a "demo" car. Total BS though and ended up having them redo the repair to have it look 100% new. What a PITA.
