Yesterday we were passing through Webster MA and were in quite a bit of traffic. Well besides the usual "Nice ride!", or "sweet car!" comments a guy in a firebird waiting to pull from the side of the road actually got out his digital camera and started taking pics. Then he waved and took off. I've heard stories of similar experiences but thats a first for me!
I love this car!

Nice. I had a similar experience with my humble R&T when I first got it; came out of a store and there was a guy in the parking lot taking pics of my Charger. At first I wasn't too impressed, but he explained that he was talking to his brother about buying one and wanted to show him the pics.

Haven't seen a Bee up here yet, but I've heard there's a couple around...

When I am driving my Magnum, nothing like that happenes. But when I drive my Super Bee, I always see camera phones in cars beside me taking pics. Have come out to the car and people are walking around the Bee and taking pics. Must be all the Bee pollen that attracts them to the car, lol. Buzz On!!!

It still amazes me too. The other day I was at a gas station and next to me was an older guy who got out of his truck and started looking at my car up and down and even bent down and looked under it.

He started walking in to go pay for his gas and stopped to turn around and look some more. As I drove off, he stood by the doorway and starred and waved as I drove by.

It just makes you feel really good about your purchase.

I know...... right

Thats why when people post and say should they get a bee, lots of people say youll get used to the color and not like it, or the 1900 bux is just for some vinyl stickers, I say they havent been in a bee for a day!

Almost every gas station stop i get a small group of guys . I like to say it comes with the automatic panty moistener as ive had some chicks in the back that just dig it.

I was videotaping a classic car today , it was a 36 olds all souped up and cherried, some guy stops his car and comes over to us in the back of this parking lot, takes out his camera and snaps pics of my bee! tells me nice ride and leaves.

The bee is the bomb . Not everyone likes the attention......but i love it!

THe bright yellow paint, alone, is worth the $1900 extra!
Don't forget the "all charcoal" interior, Carbon fiber dash, and highly polished 20in wheels.

I get a few questions, but most ignore it. People are too wrapped up on their cell phones and everything else around here - they aren't even paying attention to their OWN driving, let alone anyone else.

I was almost head-on hit two days ago, by a woman in a Bimmer going over a narrow, one-way at a time bridge near me (we have a few of those here). Doing at least 40, not even looking. I had JUST enough room to get out of the way. If I had been in my truck, I would not have had room. I don't even think she saw me, barreled right on through. How do you miss a BRIGHT yellow car?

Oh, and a chick magnet? Unless you're driving a ricer, chicks don't care.

I know there is one floating around the Brampton area. I haven't seen it very much, but he must drive home on Steeles everyday after work. I have heard a few people at work who have bus stops on Steeles that see him going West almost everyday.

Also, if you would like to see a slightly modded Bee just let me know and I'm sure I could meet up with you someplace and you can take a look at mine if you want.

EDIT - Almost forgot, I get some attention with my Bee up here in Canada but nowhere near as much as what most of the US Bee owners have been reporting. Must just be different up here, people just don't seem to care as much I guess.

Mine's not a Bee (and I hate to hijack a Bee thread) but i can tell you the SRT line gets maximum attention. Just the most recent example - today I was at a stoplight and the guy in the next lane slightly ahead of me was on his cell phone articulating with his hands and arms. I though he was just overly engaged in his call but then I noticed he was actually giving me the thumbs up - I think he snapped a pic or two as well. He kinda leaned out his window and flashed a big sh!t eating grin as i waved back. I then turn into a party store just down the street, and as I'm at the counter 2 other dudes get into line and one asks 'is that your SRT?'. I said yea, and he starts going on about how he has wanted one since they came out, how badazz they look, etc. We continued talking as we walked out of the store (total strangers, by the way), and they both gave me the 'oh my god' look as i started up the engine and chirped the tires on the way out. I'll be honest, I don't know which i like more - the raw power/performance or the ego strokes of all who appreciate nice cars. BTW, the panty moistener effect works with black cars as well....

Bee #600.........mine too! I've got even more attention since I've put on a Viper hood.......................
Umm, you need to post pics of this ASAP!

The Bee definitely attracts guys more then girls but I will say that when my wife is driving the girls tend to notice more. The other day two girls were going by in a car as we were pulling into our driveway. As they pass we heard them say "whoa, it's a chick!".
I love the attention because it's opposite my personality. I'm not an outgoing guy so the car helps to strike up conversation where I normally wouldn't.

MotorCity I agree with you. All the SRT's look bada$$ and draw attention.

Speak for yourself. I know i have a few notches in my pillar to say the least. Im not going to bore you with detalis but just this last weekend a cutie and I , that just loves my charger were in the back seat watchin a dvd of some mature type. Lets just say shes got a great head on her shoulders.

Stop take a look in the mirror, see that old shrek like beast looking back at you ? Well thats it! The automatic panty moistener cant overcome your beast like appearance.

Here in Iowa, women notice as much if not more then men. When I am at a light and traffic is turning towards me, they about break their neck, looking. I get a kick out of the Mom's in mini vans that do it. Men tend to be more suttle....They look, but they don't want you to know their looking.;)

I get more 45-55 year old men at gas stations stopping to talk to me. Telling me of the Super Bee's of the past and how cool it is they have brought them back. On a side note, I have a girl friend so as for the "automatic panty moistener" effect, im not too worried about that and have not noticed it myself. But, it sure is neat when someone takes the time to pull out the camera and snap a few pics of your ride.

Almost got the Bee. But then I read the article about the car being mistaken at LAX for a cab during their test drive. I didn't want to have to get a hack license to drive it. It is a sweet ride. I looked at the purple due to it having so few made but I would feel like I was driving one of the fruit of the loom cars. So I decided on the fastest of the SRT-8s Black.
