What up guys, I have an 08 dodge chager and i was looking in my owners booking and it was saying that i need to replace my PCV valve every 90,000 miles... Im at 92xxx and I was wondering what the hell is a PCV valve and is it something I can replace myself? Any answers will be helpful.... Thanks

It's very simple to replace and yes, you should do it.

The PCV valve is the Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve and is there to pull the oil vapor pressure from the engine and run it through the intake to be burned.

What engine do you have?

I have the 3.5... Where would it be located on the engine?

PCV valve - located on the passenger side of the engine, near the back, under the plastic intake plenum. A black hose is attached to it with "PCV" printed on it.
