Your biggest problem with changing the hood on an SXT the grooves on the front fascia. Many of the hoods don’t have the matching groove pattern.

that is the reason if ever get to buy a newer v6, i would go with the GT. It comes standard with the performance body facia, 8.4 uUonnect, and other goodies such as remote start, heated front seats, and paddle shifters.

My SXT has remote start and leather heated and vented seats. I’m just missing the fancy fascia and paddle shifters, but I can still manual shift with the gear shift, which I prefer.

you can option the SXT with most options besides the HK audio system.

for 2019 the GT started at $31,745 compared to the RWD SXT at $29,470, for an extra $2,300 i would get the GT.

Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda.

With that being said, I don’t regret the SXT at all. Doesn’t hurt that it did have some creature comforts though.
