The vehicle in question is a 2008 R/T, the 5-speed auto.

Around 50-65 mph, I've noticed that there's a very faint whine when I let off the gas and it seems sometimes when I'm at constant speed. Don't notice it at lower speeds and I don't know that I hear it at 70+.

I assume it's the trans, but maybe not? It doesn't seem to be bothering anything else, and it's faint enough that no passengers have ever mentioned it, so I really don't know.

I've noticed this whine too, but usually at lower speeds than you ... maybe 30-45 mph ... when letting off the gas ... not sure if it's gear whine or the fuel pump .... lol
