What is the difference between an offroad x-pipe and a regular x-pipe? Is it that the offroad one connects directly to the headers? Thats my guess on what an offroad x-pipe is.

The off-road pipes are ones without catalytic converters. On our cars, the X-pipe is part of the cat-back system, and the mid-pipes are the pieces of tubing between the headers and the cat-back, and do not have a crossover section. When it comes to buying aftermarket mid-pipes you can get them with high flow catalytic converters, or with no catalytic converters which is not legal for cars that are street driven, which is why they're called "off-road".
