So someone backed into me and messed up my headlight lens (and a few other things). I took it as an opportunity to do a headlight build! I still need a new lens though.

I am seeing if anyone is interested in splitting these with me:

By splitting I mean I would buy them, remove the lenses and then ship them to you! It would be a good option for someone looking to upgrade, add halos, paint, etc. You would just have to use the lenses on your current headlights. I would split the cost of the projectors.

The only problem I see is that the projectors are not OEM. Theyre after market. I picked up a set from A1 Auto and was surprised to find a giant fingerprint on the projector inside the housing. Kind of ruined wanting to use the aftermarket-oem look a like for me.

I can't blame you there, that would be pretty irritating. I hope that what happened to you was an anomaly. I've read about a lot of people buying them there (including DynoXG in the how-to thread I included), so maybe it was anomalous? The good the about opening them up is that you can clean, paint, etc -- so if there is a fingerprint or something you could clean it and do some custom stuff while you're in there!
