Hello all. Just picked up an '07 R/T yesterday with 52k on it after my daily driver Land Rover took a dump. The car is immaculate for it's age and already has cai and exhaust work done to it. The issue I've noticed is an odd noise that sounds almost like brakes rubbing while the car is in drive. I took it out for a test drive and honestly could not hear the noise due to talking to the salesman. The service record shows the car has a regular maintenance schedule that has been maintained since purchase. The noise fades away as the car slows to a stop. Ive seen this mentioned a few times on forums with no outcomes posted. Anyone else have any input or first hand knowledge of something similar?

I might now know the answer to this question but do you have the hand brake on when you park regularly? Mine does that when I leave the handbrake on for a bit and it goes away after I drive a mile. Might not be the same issue you are having but just wanted to see if you do leave the handbrake on.

That was first thought but the brake hasn't been set since I bought it. It sounds almost like a caliper that's stuck but none are. I read a few posts of people with similar noises but no resolve other than the dealer telling them it's normal.
