So I took my car in to get an oil change and my mechanic told me that my left rear tie rod is shot and my front right one is going as well. My car is a 2006 and is under 30k, so my question is would this be covered under the manufacturer warranty?

I bought my 2006 Dodge Charger RT from a Ford dealership and they've been semi difficult to get a straight answer from. This is also my 1st real car (previously drove a 1991 Ford Tempo) so any help would be greatly appreciated.

This depends when the first owner bought the charger you are under the miles but you might be over the months you have 3 years or 36,000 miles witch ever one comes first. Now if the first owner bought the car in late 2006 you might have a shot.

^^^ Yep, find the in service date, BMV should be able to tell you. That'll be your answer.
