Picked up a spare 6.1 upper to play with, did some port-matching using my dremel then could not decide on what color to go with so I had it powder coated sparkle silver, got a great deal on a NIB throttle body so I gave it a quick coat of dark grey paint and installed that at the same time

Old and new plenums side by side

Plenum off

Installed (ended up going with OEM chrome fuel rails and not the red ones I had painted

Sitting in the sun this weekend, everything just looks really clean until you get close, then you see the sparkle in the powdercoat

Thanks guys, only part that I still think needs help is the coolant tank

Have one on it's way, just not sure if I will end up doing it Inferno red or just a satin black so it doesn't stand out as much.

Yes, I used a dremel to match the ports to the gasket and clean off any excess casting marks

Very sharp job. I think for the coolant tank, black with polished aluminum cap would be about right.
