I just traded my 2005 mustang GT in on a black pearl charger R/T,


i have noticed this thing has nothing out of the hole, feels like a 6cyl, does anyone have a tuner out to turn off the torque management? My 05 was drive by wire and had torque management issues as well, i put a canned diablo tune in it and ran a [email protected], without the tuner it was closer to 13.6, im thinking that the charger would benefit from some altering of the computer as well,


to make a long story short


does anyone have a tuner out yet? any in developemnt?


what about rear gears? torque converters?

DCX has made TQ managment a little more difficult to get around than Ford. There are some things that you can do to made improve throttle response in the lower gears. There is a link in this forum that outlines some procedures to improve throttle response. I'm sure someone will post it for you.

All of this improve greatly once the engine gets broke in and adapts to your style of driving. However, please don't expect the Charger to leave like the GT. It's a little more difficult due to gearing and weight of the Charger.

i expect that, and its an auto also, i would like to firm up the shifts as well, any way to get this thing to get rubber in second?

First of all, Congrats on the purchase!! 2nd did I read that right you traded a 05 new body mustang?? Just curious, why?

we have a 4 month old baby boy, and we really needed more room than the mustang offered, the charger fit the bill very well, it also didnt hurt that i got more trade in on my mustang than we paid for it
