I recently purchased a 2008 dodge charger R/T orange Daytona. I had a problem with the rims and decided to buy 4 new rims and tires. I was looking around and I really liked the viper replicas. So I purchased a set of 22inch staggered viper wheels from factory reproductions. The sizes are 22x9 and 22x10, 5 x 115mm and offset +18mm. The tires I purchased were Nittos 420s 265/35r22 for the front and 295/30r22 for the rear. I took them to a sts tire shop and they then told me that the wheels did not fit because the tire was rubbing on the suspension. When he showed me what he was talking about I saw the tire was hitting this metal thing and there was no space in between the tire and whatever that thing was. I don't know that much about cars and I was told that the setup I had would fit but I don't know whether I should return the wheels or see if spacers would help. Any ideas on what I should do?
