It has been a long time since I owned a muscle car so the purchase of a new 06 Dodge Charger R/T is extra special to me as I am in my sixties and patiently have waited for a car like this. I must admit that I was tempted by the 300C but the chopped roof effect seemed to extreme and cost was also a factor. The new Charger has just the right lines to be sleek and stylish and the fact that it is a four door sedan does not detract from it. I might have liked a little more rumble from the mufflers but the cars quietness when accelerating is still exhilarating and may prevent me from getting a ticket or two.I liked the magnesium pearl color right away and that was the car that was available to me. My first assessory was to order a dash mat which I received yesterday and after looking at it as far as quality and fit decided to return it. I hope someone comes up with a better mat and better choices to better match all interiors. :)

Yes, welcome to these forums. What Kind of options did you get ? You'd be suprised as some of the built in goodies Dodge provided, but forgot to tell you about. Like auto-headlights ( depending on your options ).

I love my charger, I"m not in my 60's but am very close to 50, and have to agree. It is an awsome care. Rides nice, is truely a family cruising car. Gets excellent MPG for the kind of HP it has, and when you want to have a little fun, you can ;)

Hello. I will be 40 yrsold late in November. My Daytona will have a sun roof to warm my bald head and UConnect to keep my failing eyes on the road. :)

To all those who welcomed me to this website and Charger lovers all over the US who are just as excited about either eventually owning one or who have just purchased one I bid you congratulations and thanks, to the AZ contingent future rallys and car opinions are welcome. Where are you purchasing dash mats? My first attempt was disapointing.
