Hello new member here from SC,LA. hoping to get in on advice and pointers. Currently having problems with my 392 shakes in idle and once it’s warm looses some power around 6th gear As on now it’s sitting at the dealer in Victorville. ANY ADVICE. the techs mention it’s pretty wierd since no check engine lights come on but the tech drove it him self and was like wow that’s not normal never seen anything like that. So now he’s working with the dodge engineers and still haven’t came up with anything. It’s not normal cause my wife’s scatpack is the same year and it does not do that neither does my sisters In law where a 392 family.

That sucks about your car, hopefully they get it figured out soon. Thankfully, you have enough 392’s in your life that you know that they’re not all junk.
Hopefully you have a lemon law where you live and you fall under it if they can’t find the problem.

🤪 thx bro I’m on my 4th one first one got hit by drunk driver. It only had 700miles totaled.#2 got vandalized by haters and burned. God is good #3 let the wifey keep it and now my #4 is giving me hell😡😩. IM FROM CALI PRETTY SURE ILL FIND A LAWYER 🙏🙏

Damn Cali native here too! Sorry to hear that fricken sucks yout on your 4th one thats insane, and yeah many parts here are not friendly to people with nice cars. I dread going to LA, San Fran, Fresno or etc etc so many thieves and vandalism. I luckily havent had as many problems as you but I have already had someone hit and run minor cosmetic dent before I wrapped mine and then had a break in attempt and had to replace my rear passenger glass it sucks. It also doesn't help my car is so fricken noticeable like a big magnet that says steal me lol. Glad your safe tho for the power loss good your getting it looked at by a tech the symptomn you described there could honestly be about 10 different things I could think off hope its all resolved!🧡💜

I just got my 392 back from the dealer they said is the after market exhaust wich I only put dynomax minis in it I thought is the exhaust but they said they won’t do anything to it till I put back the exhaust to stick.. that’s stupid yo.. Ugh that sucks, yeah it makes sense Mopar warranty is usually very strict when it comes to diagnosing/repairing stuff if they so much as feel its modified from stock in some way. To them even if its just minis it would still be a "modifcation" they would refuse to cover im sorry that sucks mopar just never gives anyone a break. Was going to ask do you have the stock mufflers? it might be worth it to just weld them back on get what you need repaired and worry bout putting them back on later. I myself just have a muffler delete I would call FCA, Mopar and Dodge Cares and i believe they are on here if you tag them

Good point ! forgot that simple detail and Same Im not sure too well what exactly he means, I thought mine was messed up when I realized its just the 392 rumble he said he loses power in 6th gear ? so while driving I assume

If anyone recalls I made a thread kinda similiar to how he was describing it about power loss at certain RPMS/gears and it turned out not to be anything wrong maybe hes experiencing what I felt?

You don't realize how much they shake/rumble until you don't drive them for a while. Even my 5.7 would shake. We had 3.6s for work, and it's amazing how smooth a Pentastar starts up.

I must admit that as I age, riding in something smooth and quiet does become more appealing. You also don't realize how bumpy the Chargers are either until you ride in something with a softer suspension. My Bee is always in Sport Mode, so those roads through Baltimore, DC, and Philly take their toll.

Or how tight the dang steering is, even in street. I put some miles on the Beast last week and thought I was driving manual steering lol.

I made the decision today, I'm getting old. I truly enjoy the quiet of the Durango and how smooth the ride is. Maybe instead of a project car, I'll buy my old ass a Camry
