Here's the scoop:Customizer Puts '06 "General Lee" Dodge Charger on eBay
Date Posted 08-04-2005

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Custom South, which specializes in one-off custom versions of Chrysler and Dodge vehicles, is auctioning a special "General Lee" edition of the 2006 Dodge Charger, as a promotional tie-in with the new The Dukes of Hazzard movie that opens this weekend.

The car is listed on the eBay Motors Web site, with an asking price of $49,000.

The blurb that accompanies the promotion says: "This idea was created on a ****tail napkin at about 1:30 A.M. in a brainstorming session by the Custom South design team."

The original "General Lee" was based on a 1969 Dodge Charger.

Custom South says offers can also be submitted by phone at (727) 409-6547.

What this means to you: Bid on a latter-day "General Lee" edition of the 2006 Dodge Charger; a Daisy Duke doll is not included.

What's the use of even doing that if you don't at least paint it orange also? And as authentic as the confederate flag is, I don't think there is any way that I would drive a car around today with that on it.

Somebody else did one, and it looks twice as good as this one. Here is the link, I don't think it's been posted over here.

I would drive it with the flag up in your Yankeeville just to piss people off.

I think offending people is still legal. The Supreme Joke, uh I mean Court hasn't outlawed that yet, has it? :silenced:
