I think it is a good idea that Dodge is doing this. It gives the v6 a special edition or top of the line, whatever this maybe. Its not all that bad looking.

I wouldn't call it a "DUB" edition, but bring back the old "500" badge last seen on the 1970's Mid-range Chargers. Call it the "Charger 500". Bring back more retro. :)

I think it needs alot more to be considered DUB edition. Hell alot of us here have cars that qualify way more than that one.

I would hate to have the "Charger DUB" lower the "DUB quality" if you catch my drift.

It would need at least 22" on it too.
Tint
Blacked out tails
some sort of ground effects
a different interior trim package
a stereo system
maybe a tv or 3
this for 5k would be awesome.

My thoughts on this. From a business standpoint I think we'll sell a handful of them. Chrysler asked how many we would order, and I said about six. I hear you guys who are saying it could use more special equipment to set it apart, but then the price would go even higher. Right now you are looking at a $31,000 or above sticker price when you add that equipment to the base price of a SXT. That's a lot of money for a V6 Charger.

From a personal standpoint, as someone who is considering a Road & Track package car around the same time this thing is going to hit the streets, I am not happy they are doing this and using the same style wheels from the SRT and Road & Track cars. I don't want my car to be mistaken for a V6 "Dub" car. Give the "Dub" model a nice wheel and tire package, but don't let it be mistaken for a $45,000 SRT8 or a Road & Track car. :(

They might as well add some Road and Track seats and a SRT hood and slap a SRT design badge on it like the 300's. I would buy one of those and they might sell more labeling it as such IMHO......

How about putting the viper V10 in a charger and calling that the 500 (500+ ci)...

I like that idea better.:)

Best Idea yet today...

Forget the Mustang GT 500....

We could have the 2009 Charger SRT500

(insert awesome photoshop of a charger with the proper decals and effects)

That's not a DUB edition Charger.
That doesn't look like any DUB Chargers I have seen. If it this is true those are weak they look stock.:smoke:
