I recently purchased a 2012 Charger SE, it had 23k miles for 16k..I thought it was a good deal.

It is pre-certified, 0 accidents etc.

I'm looking to change the body kit. I've been searching for an SRT8 body kit, I love the look of it. Of course at the time of buying my charger it was not a good choice in spending additional 25k for it.

I need help in finding the kit for it. I've seen something on www.carid.com for a full kit, it was around 1,500k. Do all kits fit perfectly? Does it matter where I get it from? Getting it from the manufacturer is best?

Please any information would be great, along with links to check it out.

p.s I wouldn't mind the srt8 rims as well.I've uploaded a pic of what my looks like now and srt8 on how I want it to look.(pretty sure everyone knows already the difference. (I went to dodge.com and couldn't locate anything for kits)

this is the only site i've really found anything on

I considered the very same thing 2 weeks after I got my car....don't think its worth dropping that kinda money into something like this.
Why don't you wait for a few more weeks to see if this feeling subsides?

:)
Hey Powerman; Yeah i've had the car about 2 weeks now myself. From the listing..it's ranging from 800-1500..this is the same i'm finding and actually anticipating paying that much.

I understand, would have to pay for painting it and labor for install. What I'm not sure is it's better to get this duraflex brand or actually from the manufacturer. Do you know if there's a difference, if it's a perfect fit and the one from the manufacturer would be?

Sorry, haven't looked into these as much as I'd have liked to.
You will need to look into the materials used to manufacture these kits.

This video did help me understand the difference when it comes to using Fiberglass vs Urethane for body kits.
Hopefully this proves to be of some use to you:

Also, I'd suggest you take a look at Danko reproductions site for cosmetic mods.
These custom made kits would be a better way to go, and is something you can build on top of your existing setup:

The front lip spoiler was my first purchase :)
