If you're looking at pre 2011, I think a vast majority will agree an RT is worth the extra. 2011 and after becomes a little blurrier, since the pentastar v6 is quite peppy.

what he said....

now, if it was a 2010 R/T vs. a 2012 V-6, then I'm not sure....I LOVE my V8, but the 2011-up interior is so much nicer than the 2010-down....

well, if you're looking for a 2nd gen V6 vs. a V8 1st gen, if you can swing it, try look for a 2nd gen that has the 8 speed vs. 5 speed if possible, and the 8.4" screen radio vs. the 4.3" screen

Hello everyone im thinking in a charger rt, the problem is the price. What is the best option buy an sxt and put 3k or 4k on it or buy the rt. I'm looking for the 09 or 2010 model, thanks guys.
I think if you are planning on putting more money into an sxt you would get more value out of getting the r/t. But to be clear value to me = fun

Just did a research and found a 2013 rt with 45k miles in 20k. Problem solve thanks guys for the tips
