I know I have read it before but I can not find it. If you get staggered wheels, say 22x9 and 22x10.5, will 265/35/22 on all 4 work in the long run?
I saw someone with this setup and was wondering if taking the "cheap way out" from buying the 295/30/22 in the back would work out in the long run?
Isn't this essentially streatching the tire on the back and leaving a greater possibility for it to get damaged?
Thanks for the help.

You can't run a 265 on a 10.5 rim. We had to change tires on a Bentley GT cause the shop that put them on sized the rims wrong. All the tires wore out on the edges cause they were stretched to fit the rim.

The reason you would get staggered wheels is to be able to fit a wider tire at the rear. Doesn't make sense if you are going to use the same tire on both the front and rear.
