I've done a rough rendering of whatever it is Dodge is racing in Nascar next year. I've removed the orange grille slats and spoiler tape. I also added lights used by the 2004 Dodges and the 1999 Charger concept. At this time, this car could be called Daytona, or Charger Daytona. However I doubt it will simply be called Charger. I think that will more likely look like the C&D renderings.

However, I think the Nascar model exists somewhere, and will be raced, so I wanted to see what it might look like with the tape removed and the light decals added.

yeah, but the shape of the grille isn't the same. It looks more likw the C&D grille.

The grill may be the same shape as the C&D grille, but its placement
on the car is completely different than the C&D rendering and the supposed spy shots.

The Dodge Nascar development guy, Fernandez, said they had not agreed on what to name the car. So this car could be the "Daytona" model instead of the "Charger" model.

If you look closely at The C&D car rendering and the Brampton car (spy pics). there is one important feature that is "MISSING" that is the same if you look closely, CHARGER emblems. (there aren't any)

The NASCAR grill is shortened for a purpose as with the previous Stratus/Intrepid.

However, which missing link are you referring too? There is no badge.
