Hi there,

I like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Johan and as you see my username is Yomusic. I was a music producer in the '80/'90. I stopped making music but still do some mixing on the radio here in Holland and on the internet.
Can't let the music go :smile2: Music is my second hobby :smile2:

My first hobby is my Dodge Charger Police. It was a former police car from the Pocono PD in Pennsylvania. Before my Dodge I had a Boxy Chevrolet Caprice LAPD, a '95 Chevrolet Caprice NYPD, Ford Crown Victoria Sheboygan Wisconsin and now the Dodge Charger. This is my fastest police car I ever had :D

I have my Dodge since october 2014. I'm restore it and make it ready for license plate requirements. There are much things to like mounting a foglight at my back bumper, blinkers in my side markers, make my front turn signals burn white and not yellow, remove the spotlight, light bar, push bumper, make my rear doors go open from the inside (police option) partitioner cage has to be removed. I found some faulty codes on my OBD like O2 sensor, ABS, Airbag, transmission pressure sensor and much more. So a lot to do on my Charger.
But that's okay, I can work in a garage.
Finally I found this forum and hope to get the answers I'm looking for.

Cheers,
Johan

Sounds like you've got a lot of work ahead of you. Pretty nice collection you've had over the years though, so I doubt any of that work is new to you.

This is a very knowledgeable forum, so you've come to the right place. Welcome.

Just a question after reading your post again.

They sold and shipped it with the light bar and barrier still on it? Those things are pretty expensive. They'll usually remove all the stuff before they sell them, and re-purpose them on new patrol cars. The spot light is pretty much the only thing that's usually left behind. How'd you get one still equipped with everything?

I bought the car from a German dealer. He imported the car with all the police options still on it. It was also a special question from me. I like the car as original as it was when it drove in the states. They accepted the deal, lucky me. There is almost $ 5.000,- equipment on and in the car. In the Dodge is mounted: 2 gunlock holders, partitioner, Motorola radio, Code 3 siren, spotlight, console and a GPS transmitter :wink3:

I have mounted a new coolant radiator, alternator, 4 new tires and a O2 sensor. Now I'm busy with all the rust and changing the side markers for blinker. A lot to do but it's worth it :smile2:
