MY '15 R&T is in Trim! **Built and Released**

Chatted with Dodge this morning and my Charger is currently in trim and they say it should ship out in the next couple days! I hope it actually ships quickly, haven't had good luck in the past. My '14 Jeep GC was help up in a 2 week quality inspection and my '14 Ram was built just after a huge hail storm rolled though Michigan so the lot was backed up and it didn't ship for a couple weeks... If all goes well, I'll have it in my garage before April!

I'm in Oklahoma, so it's got a ways to travel. Goes to rail yard in Oklahoma City and has to travel by truck to Tulsa, another 100 miles.

That's a long way. My dealer is only 25 miles from the assembly plant and I got my VIN today. I am hoping to have it by early April....

1200+ miles on the train means lots of rail dust and required clay barring this spring...

It was finished yesterday afternoon and has already been released from the plant. I have the build sheet, but no window sticker yet...

How are you getting that detailed information?

Mine was built last week and the salesman says he has no information on when it will arrive at the dealership.

There's a guy on Jeep Garage .org that will track your order with a paid membership of Level III or better ($25/yr). It gets updated a few times per day. Not sure where he works, I assume for FCA somewhere.

Also, there's another guy on Ram Forum(z).com that will also track your order for no charge. It's not as detailed though.

Yeah, I was already a member from when I was tracking my Ram last year. I'm good up until May so it worked out well.

My car is currently in Kansas! Getting closer! Based on the tracking of my Jeep and Ram from the last couple years, it's got another stop in central Kansas, then to Oklahoma City where it's unloaded from the train, then trucked the remaining ~100 miles to Tulsa.

Here's a quick Google Maps snapshot of it's journey from Brampton, last update was Armourdale, KS (Point H). Total journey will be about 2000 miles. This map is by road, but rail shouldn't be much different, maybe even a bit more direct of a path between points.

Getting a little nervous... My car is in Oklahoma City now waiting to be put on a truck to Tulsa. We had some big storms with lots of hail all over the state, including OKC. Really hoping my car wasn't hit! I'm going to have a hard time accepting a repaired hail damaged vehicle. It's supposed to be here tomorrow... I guess we'll see...
