When I go though the auto car wash (as I don't have time to hand wash and want the car clean) sometimes I hear a metal popping sound, like sheet metal flex, when the drying blowers kick on. Sounds like it's coming from the back, like the truck lid. I'm assuming that it's the spoiler flapping from the blowing air that's causing it, but it's kind of hard to see as I'm in the drivers seat. I don't see any damage and I've even pushed down on the roof and trunk lid and can't replicate the sound.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever heard this and/or knows what it is?

Well... Found the noise. It is the roof, I ran through the wash again and looked through the sun roof. As soon as the straight down blower went past the glass, "pop". When I got home, I pushed down a little harder on the roof and it flexes... A LOT...

Mystery of the sound solved, now onto if it's "normal".

Seems normal. I see my hood flexing like crazy from the blowers in the carwash.
