Sounds good depending on the day/time. It'll give me a reason to wash mine. :slap:

I would come but i wont be there til march , lol hopefully the car will b there when i get there .....

i'll go for a bit. but more than likely it would have to be either on saturday late afternoon, like around 4 or later, or sunday afternoon. it'll also give me a excuse to detail the car, since my girlfriend has been driving it the last few months and could use the cleaning.
How about Sat the 14th of Nov.........5pm? Anyone, name the place....:beerchug:
How about Aikahi Shopping Center..........plenty of parking...and places to eat. Alpha Pro, just have to hit the H-3...all the way to the end, super easy......or if their is a place you'd rather go on your side?
Plenty of responses on LX forums.....So, is Aikahi Shopping center cool....11/14/09 @ 1700 (5pm)? Hopefully we can get at least 10 guys. I will try and get some more guys who may not be on the forums....Marines, HPD anyone else I come across at while working. Tell all your friends......

Do it earlier in the day.....they are open on Sat, just call up Robert.
I had time today. I usually go to kailua but the past few times some of the workers just didnt do it for me (not robert though, hes cool). its a long story that ended up with them puting the wrong size pipe..... but i ended up going to waipahu and saw roland. great guy and welded up the downpipe to the x-pipe on both sides for 40 bucks. I might end up welding the whole thing but we'll see. I think im going to be going to waipahu from now on.

now on to fix the brakes......rotex gold brake pads are noisy as hell....

Yeah, Robert and Roland know their stuff. I had few issues w/ two of the guys in Kailua. They stripped a bolt, and cross threaded a nut...hence my exhaust leak. I suspect when they had to lift the motor and loosen the engine mount, they cracked my bushing/mount. Every time I would accellerate, the Hemi would jump up and tap my hood....It twisted the whole exhaust line on the driver's side, and warped the header!!!! First time I ever had a problem. Ands I have had four exhaust systems installed there. I brought it to Robert's attention, and he fixed everything...even heated up the header, and flattened it out on the table....Tight as hell now.

I am using the Hawk ceramic pads...they make some noise to, but stop on a dime.....Have you ever tried the EBC type pads? I was looking to change out mine too. What are you going w/ next?

See you Sat nite.....Andy :beer_yum:

im glad robert straightened it out for you. when I had my problems he wasnt even there and the guy I was talking to was giving me every excuse he knew...it was frustrating.

as for brake pads I have no idea......i was thinking the ebc but I will have to research and keep my options open. something with little dust and dosent make noise. it dosent really bother me since I hardly drive it anymore. it became my girlfriends daily driver and ive been driving (and modding) the x-runner. all I know is im not going to buy the brembo stock pads, cause they cost waaaay to much, even with a discount.

Hey Art,
Are you coming tomorrow to Aikahi M&G @1700? Inquiring minds want to know.
